CNSNext recently opened a new Customer Engagement Facility at 77 Williamsburg Avenue in Thomasville to serve the participating communities of Cairo, Camilla, Moultrie, Thomasville, Pelham, Baconton, Doerun, and Norman Park. The new facility is important as CNSNext works to transition traditional cable customers to NextStream, a new video streaming service. Current CNSNext cable customers were required to transition to NextStream by September 30 to avoid service interruptions, but that deadline has been extended to November 15 to better serve customers.
Randy Eubanks, Director of CNSNext Operations, expressed his excitement about the overwhelming response from customers transitioning from traditional cable TV service to streaming service. "We understand that this transition has been difficult for our customers, which is disappointing to us as we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service to the communities we serve," said Eubanks. "We feel the best way to assist our customers with moving to NextStream is by allowing for more time to transition to the service. Our goal is to provide personalized service and respond to every service upgrade request, which has been compromised with the timing of the recent changes related to our new billing platform.”
A new billing system was implemented at the end of August, resulting in Thomasville customers accustomed to receiving one bill for all Utility and CNSNext charges to now receiving separate invoices. “All CNSNext charges are now included on one bill and processed through a single billing platform for all CNSNext cities,” said Chelsey Ansley, CNSNext Customer Support Manager. “This was a big change for many of our customers, who understandably had a lot of questions about these changes. Unfortunately, this has resulted in an extremely high call volume,” Eubanks said. “We place tremendous value on customers, and our focus is firmly on assisting all customers to the same level they’ve always come to expect from CNSNext. With this goal in mind, we are making adjustments every day to provide the exceptional customer service that has always been the hallmark of CNSNext."
The new Customer Engagement facility offers a full range of services targeted at providing the best service possible to all CNSNext customers. “Customers can receive support from a dedicated team of CNSNext representatives at our new office,” said Ansley. “Whether you are applying or transferring services, seeking customer and technical support assistance, or simply paying an invoice, we are ready to help all CNSNext customers,” said Ansley. “We also have dedicated staff specializing in the unique service offerings needed for our business class customers here at our new location.”
